Very vivid to anyone who knows the U.N. area and the nightmare of traffic at that time each year. NYPD is on the case as they certainly would be and the author shows how an NYPD detective would operate and depicts various parts of the city. Good characters. Very well researched.

“Dirk completely captures the setting of the UN General Assembly, and weaves this into a historically accurate and interesting tale of diplomacy and corruption. Characters are well developed and authentic. There are a number of unexpected (but foreshadowed) twists and turns that keep you guessing. Treachery in Tabari is a very engrossing read.”
“This book had a very interesting plot. It starts by immediately jumping into the action, which is a great way to start. I also enjoyed how the book included the other language. That was a unique and interesting aspect. The book kept me engaged throughout.”
